Hello ladies well I've had this beauty blender for a few months but now it smells like when you leave wet clothes out how can I get that to go away.

You're probably best to get a new one. Also I read somewhere that it's best to wash them after every 3rd use so maybe washing it regularly can help it stay smelling nice and clean.

What would I wash it with? since you always have to wet it and squeeze out the water and then put on the foundation

I wash mine with regular soap. I've heard of people using baby shampoo as well though. I think there are a few brands that make specific sponge cleansers though.

I wash mine after every use and get 3-4 months out of it. I use unscented dr bronners bar soap. If you look at the BB base soap it's the exact same as dr bs. Also it's only $5, organic, and lasts around 6 months.

That makes me think it might be molding in the center of the sponge. I would get a new one.
you should also clean it before or after each use with the beauty blender soap or just regular dish soap. then you have to let it dry in an open space. I personnaly leave it on my desk. like don't put it in a drawer or a makeup case, it needs to breathe.

I use dish soap, and same as Lara, I let it air dry, I put it on a shot glass.

I agree with these ladies, toss it and get a new one and make sure you wash it.

I agree with the ladies above and can't stress this enough: don't store it in a closed place when it's still wet- let it dry completely before you put it away in a drawer or something.

I use Dr Bronners as well. The bar lasts forever.
