I woke up with a huuuuuge white head on my chin. Of course the day I have a big event at night! I'm willing to try anything! I don't care if it's still red I just hate the whitehead part of it - I feel like it just looks gross and makes me super insecure.

Is there anything I can do to treat it by tonight?!?!?

I put this post in makeup accidentally by habit! Sorry.

This is just my opinion and what I would do. I'd gently exfoliate your face, that in its self might make it pop. I'd put some benzoyl peroxide treatment gel on it.

I know this is controversial, but I would lance it. Heat up a needle with a match to sterilize it, wipe it down with alcohol & carefully poke a hole in it so it releases the pus through the hole. Press a tissue firmly on it afterwards. Do not use your fingers to squeeze it. You don't want to inflame it or spread the bacteria into thesurrounding tissue. By allowing the pus to escape through the tiny hole, you will minimize the chances of it getting bigger and bursting on its own. If it bursts on its own, you risk a more noticeable scar or dark spot. You can ice it later. And put a tiny dot of benzoyl peroxide which will help kill the bacteria.

I recommend lancing for pimples that have a raised, white head only. Not for cystic, or the average small pimples that are just red & raised.

Adding to what the girls said, wrap an ice cube in some kitchen towel and press to the spot to cool it down and reduce swelling and redness

Thanks everyone! So I wound up popping it and cleaning it so hopefully all the bacteria was gone and it did help throughout the night until I got home at like 3am and noticed the pimple came back 😔😔😔
