So this is the third summer that I've noticed my skin tends to get better. I don't really have acne except for the occasional pimple around my period. But I noticed my skin is "smoother" in the summer. Kind of like in the winter if I look at a certain angle in certain light I see tiny flesh colored bumps maybe clogged pores? But in the summer they disappear.
I literally don't change anything from summer to winter though. My skin routine is the same, same cleanser moisturizer etc. and I barely wear face makeup and if I do it's bb cream so it's not that I wear less makeup in the summer. I swim a lot and honestly it feels like the chlorine makes my skin better? I know this makes no sense but whenever I swim multiple days in a row it looks great. Could this honestly be helping?
I have normal skin by the way not oily or dry just the same all year round.

It's probably a combination of the sun, the heat and probably a few other things that are absent in the winter. I notice mine gets nicer in the summer as well.

Mine is always better in the summer too, the winter tends to dry the hell out of my skin so it produces more oil.

My boyfriend had this theory that chlorine makes your skin better too. So it could be that.

My skin always looks and feels better after I get out of the pool. Can't explain it but I've known this since middle school. 20 years later I still have no idea why lol!
