I also have a combination of dry to oily. And what was recommended to me was BareMinerals complexion rescue foundation, and I absolutely love it! That's my go to and I'm almost done with it, will definitely be buying the same one 😊

I like L'Or?al True Match Lumi. It has a dewy finish, which I prefer when my skin gets flaky. It can provide a light to medium, natural looking coverage.

I've been really getting into the Rimmel match perfection when my skin is super dry, I don't find it clings to any dry patches and is probably one of the easiest liquid foundations I've used just because the consistency and formula is pretty damn decent for dry skin types, goes on so easily. :)

I have super dry skin and I love L'oreal Lumi foundation. When I'm having a really dry spell I use my beauty blender and it is wonderful!

It may not be just the foundation that is causing the foundation to cake or get flakey. Make sure you have a good moisturizer for before putting on make up.

I just got a sample of the new Tarte rainforest of the sea foundation today. It applied very easily and has held up really well for the last 7 hours, it looks almost identical to when I applied it and I haven't touched up at all. I know I've only had it for today but so far so good.

L'oreal true match is really nice for dry skin and it is one of the most full coverage drugstore foundations I have ever used. Just remember, whatever foundation you choose to use, exfoliate and moisturise beforehand.

I agree with Shaye, I love the Rimmel Match Perfection. I have really dry skin that can get extremely bad flaky patches. I do a little exfoliation and then use that foundation. I've been using it for years now!

My skin is also normal to dry and I just picked up elf Studio hydrating primer- didn't have high expectations since it has such a low price point. It's actually a great primer. Smoothes my skin out and locks in my moisturizer.

I use the elf hydrating primer too. I like it too for the price it's not too bad!
