I wear Laura Mercer liquid foundation everyday to work. I would like a powder foundation to wear when I don't work just out and about. Would Tarter or Bare Minerals work better? Are there any more suggestions?? I have very very uneven skin tone I would like to convert up for the most part. A little blemishes here and there. Combo skin!

By combo skin, what do you mean exactly?
Combo as in dry and oily?
Combo as in oily and normal?
Or combo as in normal and dry?

I would suggest bare minerals since it's better for your skin. It really lets your skin breathe and is all natural.

Not sure your skin type but if you're acne prone I'd suggest bare minerals because they offer the largest powder foundation option. If you have a beauty store near you like ulta. I'd suggest seeing options. I have an BM outlet near me and I tried some out once. I like them for setting powder but disclaimer is the coverage is low to medium.

It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation gets really good reviews. The original not the Illuminating one.

I would be weary of Bare Minerals if you have sensitive skin, bc they put a filler in called Bismuth Oxide (something like that) and it is not to be an irritant to the skin. I don't believe it is in the matte foundation but I know it's in the original. I know many people who can't use it bc it breaks them out :(

Pur minerals is amazing!! I personally did not like bare minerals it made me break out. Pur has not. Tarte is great too, I enjoy that as well!

I will say Tarte feels heavier than pur but both give same coverage.
