I learnt from youtube, but basically you plait your hair with three strands like you would normally but then pick pieces of hair up as you go along. It does take practice to learn and you can do it front of a mirror but I found it easier to learn by feeling where your hands are supposed to go.

I find the best way to learn is from someone else. Can any of your friends or your mum or someone show you? That way you can see in person how to do it. I learned from my mum and found it far easier than any YouTube tutorial. Like Hannah said its like a regular plait but bring hair in from each side. My main tip is to try and keep it tight which is easier said that done. Practice makes perfect!

I totally agree with Hollie. A few bobby pins stuck in where hair is loose and trying to come out will help! And for me, practicing on wet hair with a bit of hair gel is easier than on dry hair. Good luck!
