Usually my skin isn't that bad, but for the last six months due to a stress with school and getting admitted to college my skin has flared up with acne on mostly just my cheeks. The acne has gone away but I'm left with red brown tan spots. I've tried every diy product to fade them away and now I'm trying to buy products from stores to possibly fade them away. I also have gotten little clusters of acne scarring as well.

Does anyone have recommendation to what products I should use to target my acne scars and blemishes? I've heard that mederma or bio oil works nicely but I'm not convinced enough from reviews to go ahead and buy some.

You should be exfoliating and wearing SPF. Also use products with vitamin C to help fade the scars.

I highly suggest the Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel

Have you tried applying yoghurt on the blemishes? It's a great exfoliant

I have an age spot on my left cheek and freckles on the backs of my hands and after reading this: http://essentialoilbenefits.com/21-best-essential-oils-for-age-spots-on-face-and-hands/ - I ordered frankincense oil, will let you know if it works.

There are many many ways to fade blemishes, however one of the best things you can do, in my opinion, is to let your skin be free of any chemicals, makeup or anything that will block the pores. Of course wear some sort of spf but it's best to go outside and get some sun! It will stimulate the vitamin D production in your face and just as the sun can lighten your hair, it can lighten your scars and also make your face more tan to hide the scars better!
