Okay, so I've never used liquid eyeliner until now! Today was my first time trying out liquid eyeliner. I was just trying it out like 5 minutes ago, and I can't seem to make the first step of the wing a straight line! It's all wobbly and shaky and no matter what I do, how stable I am, or where I put my elbow, I can't get it right! I need some help!! And I really prefer not to use tape to learn or anything else other than doing it myself.

I watched the Wayne goss easy cat eyes tutorial and he suggested using a felt tip pen eyeliner so I got the KVD tattoo liner and tried what he suggested - made doing cat eyes so simple - I've never had trouble doing them with a felt tip pen - I can always get a practically perfect wing every time even when I was just starting out - the thickness is what I had to work on since I have hooded eyes but once I figured out what looked best I just stuck with it and practiced it and now I feel like a pro :P.

Good job girl!! Felt tip is SO much easier (: and if you want it darker you can go over with a different type of liquid

Thats awsum for a first time!! I would connect it more to the corner of your eye so there's no gap.

Thanks everyone!! & I was thinking the same thing about not filling in the gap after I already took the picture!! But actually I do have the felt tip eyeliner. I think I will eventually get the hang of it. But thanks again y'all!! ❤️

I think it looks great - my only criticism is the wing should follow the line of your bottom lashes - so for next time try tilting the pen so it lines up with your lower lash line - basically have it start at a higher point to curve it a little more - other than that looks like you did great :) and if you want a cat eye you can connect the lines but for just a wing it's not necessary
