@Sarah T, as long as you don't use box color you should be fine. Unless you feel more comfortable with box go for it. Box color hair a lot of ammonia in it, and some ingredients listed can be found in; motor oil, laundry detergent. Hop over to Sally's and check out Wella. All you need is color and developer (which processes the color, use a 20), and you can buy a bottle to shake it up in, and just put it on. Don't be afraid to ask the staff for help too.

Bridgett J, your hair is cute by the way. I can't stress a heat protectant enough to my clients! If you have one already section out your hair, spray it on the section and proceed to straighten. Also try not to turn the temperature up too high, cause you could fry your hair. DON'T flat iron your hair wet....EVER! Conair is full of shit! Also one more thing, get a nylon/boar blend brush. What that's gonna do is pull your hair straighter on your hair type, so when you flat iron through and section it pull the brush through right after on that section. I lied, one more thing trim your ends.

@Megan G, that's awesome! I almost lost my father to cancer so that means a lot! I shaved my head bald in high school for my Grandma when she had cancer. My boyfriend is donating too. <3

@Breeanna W, I would do highlights and low lights on you. With the low lights I'd do a level 6 brown. Levels mean brightness. I would make your highlights a cooler ashy blonde, cause you have pink (warm) under tones in your skin.

My Aunt got breast cancer this year and she finally ended radiation, but i decided to do it while she was going through it(: It means the world to me because i lost a grandfather to it and i know that those little girls or anyone would love to have hair! Mine grows back, theres might not. But good for you and your boyfriend as well thats an amazing thing to do!

@Brooke E, In Pa (where I live) you have to complete 1250 hours of schooling (varies from state to state). You have to take a written exam (which I failed the first time I took it), and you have to do a practical exam. By practical exam I mean you'll be in a room full of people with state board officials who will be watching your every move, and you'll be tested on certain things (in Pa I got tested on virgin hair color, color retouch, virgin relaxer, relaxer retouch, facial application, and nails). Again it all depends on your state what you'll be tested on. For the written exam just study study, and for the practical, just practice. You'll pass.

@Erin N, I don't really know how to answer that, honestly. I've rocked my signature side bang for like 10 years and I haven't really styled mine other than how they are in my picture. I would Google some side bang styles and try some out.

No matter how often i trim my hair it always gets its split end back really fast! I very rarely put heat on my hair and take good care of it. Do you know why?

Haha he does have awesome hair! Id understand why you wouldn't want him to cut it, my boyfriend is shaving his head over the summer after i cut my hair because he wants to and i LOVE his amazing curls so i know what you mean! But all for good causes!!!

@Emily C, I've heard a lot of bad things about it. I've personally never used it because I'm a hair product slut go the max. Lol. I'm really picky on what goes on my hair, and who touches it as well. I don't feel too confident buying something on TV. If you want to try it, go for it. But last time I went for it with my hair, I ended up with really bad damage to the point where I have thin sections of hair. So be careful!!!
