So I was looking in to buying a new foundation since my mac one has basically all gone :'( but I wanted to try the Loreal true match lumi, but I wanted some opinions from you guys if you've tried jt, what are your thoughts on it? Has it got a nice dewy glow and jt us a light coverage foundation?

I agree with Hayley. I have dry skin and sometimes it can be too dewy... and I love dewy, but its too shiny and I lightly apply powder. I do really love this foundation though. I like the coverage and how lightweight it is. the only other downsides are that its somewhat expensive for a drugstore foundation (where I live) and it finishes kinda fast. but I must say it is one of my favorite drugstore products.

Hi Hayley! I'm having a great day thank you and I hope you are too!:) and oh thank you this actually helped a lot :) I've wanted to try the lumi for ages but I wasn't sure, I was thinking ABOHT buying the nars sheer glow instead but I wasn't quite sure, is it a light coverage and has the nars one got more of a glow?:)

And thank you Lara! This has also helped! So when I apply the foundation I Should probably apply a little powder then! And is it long lasting? And does it cling into dry areas or no? I've been wanting this foundation for quite a whole so I wasn't sure and really? How much is it where you live? Where I live it's £10 and thann you go the help :') both of you!

I really like it and it's my favorite from the drugstore by far. I have dry skin and until very recently I've had bad issues with scabby acne and the lumi did better with going over them than any other foundation I've tried. I have to reinforce the fact that it's very dewy, I never usually need a setting powder at all but I need one with this. I would not say this controls oil or would even do well with oily skin at all, because though I'm not even oily skinned I do have parts of my face that get oily and the lumi will start to transfer if it's a hot day. if I set it it won't transfer under normal circumstances though. it doesn't encourage breakouts that I've noticed and that's always a bonus for me. I like that there are a good range of shades and I picked the right one the first time. I would say it's got light-medium coverage with one layer but I can build it up to a heavy-medium pretty easy without getting cakey. one layer will cover redness and some lighter freckles, but my darker freckles and some hyperpigmentation on my jaw still show through. with two layers I can usually cover the hyperpigmentation well enough for my liking. it lasts through my 8 hour kitchen job (not always perfectly, but better than a lot of others would, I have to work around steam and everything else) and that's probably the most strenuous thing I wear makeup through.

side note: wow I can't believe Loreal overcharges that much in Canada. in the us it's 12$ where I'm at, probably no more than 15$ everywhere else. i would write a letter....(lol)

Thank you so much girls!:) and Aleena I also have very dry skin and also issues with scabby acne ATM, does it cling onto dry skin? And I also love a dewy look but I will deffo set it with a powder!:) thank you for the help!:) and wow lol that sucks, is it ever on sale where you are? I haven't had any issues with clinging. and I don't know if it happens to you too but sometimes I'll find a foundation that looks good at first or with the right primer but after a few hours my skin will "drink" whatever moisture there was and I'll have flakes in certain areas or it will look dull, thankfully I have not had that issue here. it stays dewy all day.
