Omg why did she do that?? growing your eyebrows is going to take time so patience is key. in the mean time I would apply primer to the skin where your eyebrows were and set it as a base. when you're drawing on your eyebrows mimic the shape of the bone, use your finger to feel where it is and you want to draw your eyebrow the same shape and the bone. use a high quality product, I would recommend Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow and use a fine angle brush. draw tiny hair strokes with the brush so that it looks like individual hairs

Was it a professional waxer that did this?

First off Courtney thank you so much for the tips and Sabrina my very close friend who is having her last year of Cosmetology School did them I know this sounds stupid but for some reason this totally broke my heart.

I'm so sorry. Honestly, I don't know what your friend was thinking; a last year student knows better...and not one, but both brows. I completely understand why you are upset. I would be as well. I agree with the great advice from Courtney.

You could see a Derm or your doctor and ask about Latisse, which is expensive, but will help speed up growth. Luckily, there are a lot of great brow products out there right now that will help the transition into growing new brows.

This video may prove useful if you seek a natural appearing brow.

Jeffree Star draws his brows in...quite slender, but starting with zero brow hair in this particular tutorial (listing products) starting at 11:00 in the video.

Hope that's of help to you. <3

I agree with Rozberry, see about getting Latisse from your doctor.

Can you go to the school and say something? If that's how she's doing eyebrows while being in her final year of school then her instructors should know about it.

So sorry! I agree with the previous posters- there is something that you can use that will help your eyebrow hair grow...when my daughter's were over-waxed, she went to a salon and they suggested that she use the stuff to help her eyebrows fill in faster so they could be reshaped later. Sorry, don't recall the name, but in the meantime, you can draw them on, of course. They should grow back if this is the first time they've ever been completely wiped off.

Wow. Well for now you can only draw them on and as Courtney suggested, mimic the shape of brow bone and naturally draw them. Practice practice practice! I'd suggest a pencil and Wet n Wild has good eyebrow pencils which are absolutely inexpensive and following up with a powder.

I use Castor oil on my eyebrows and my eyebrow hair growth is a definite! Go for the cold pressed castor oil! It definitely works.

I apply at night after washing my face and all.

Merrell ladies thank you so so much for all of the amazing tips I can't begin to thank you all I was also wondering if you guys had any inexpensive ways helping me growing them back and using inexpensive products in the meantime to draw them in.

I'm so sorry. Try castor oil to promote the hair growth.

If you want in the mean time use Water proof brow gel like ABH Dipbrow till you wait till it grows back.. ALSO! There's a huge new trend in Europe called MICROBLADING it's pretty cool and what they do is do tiny razor slices of hair looking lines to look like an eyebrow, it's sort of a temporary tattoo for your brows and they look pretty real! A professionally licensed tech should do it.. I don't know where they do it here but I'm sure they do.. If you want to look it up get info on how it's done and see some before a and afters...

My eyebrows look like this without product and I didn't even need anyone to mess them up haha, I fill mine in with a brow wax and set it with a powder on top to stop it transferring or coming off throughout the day. I feel like an eyebrow pencil would be the easier way to go about learning what shape you're going to work with if filling your eyebrows wasn't something you had to do regularly before this happened to your brows. what I'm doing right now is tinting my brows with an at home kit, I use the 1000 hour one in dark brown and when I notice my brows have grown even the tiniest bit, I'll tint them to help me shape them a little bit while they're growing out. (That's just what I'm trying right now to see if it helps me)

And I agree with the eyebrow tattoo or feather touch eyebrows however if your brows before this happened are naturally on the darker side/ not sparse then I think you'd be better off trying your luck at growing them back first as the brow tattoo is a little expensive.

Nyx have a similar product to the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow not 100% sure what it's called but it's in the same pot.

I think that micro leading trend was first introduced in Asia and is still quite popular there.
That is an option although, unless you're in that area... It may be hard to find a good artist.
I've seen some work from American artists and they look more like sharpie brows rather than realistic hair.

I would check out the NYX brow products if you're wanting something inexpensive. I quite like their Brow Gel which is actually quite pigmented and they have like 5 colors to choose from, it's super waterproof even on oily skin(oils tend to break down most "waterproof" products)
They even have the brow pomade but it's not as pigmented as the ABH.
As far as growth, it'll just take time.
Latisse is an option but the pricing isn't worth it IMO for brows. It's great if you're wanting naturally long lashes but by the time it starts working would probably be the time your hairs are starting to grow out anyway.

I wonder if you could find a serum to help them grow?
