I'm going to be dying my hair with L'Oréal Excellence HiColor Red HiLights - I'm thinking Red + Magenta. After researching a ton to find the shade I like best, I found that these shades turn out so differently on different people (not to mention lighting). To anyone that's used either of these shades, I would love for you to share photos of your red hair and let me know what your original color was.

I'm allll the way to the left haha but basically my hair was black. Like I had sooo much leftover residual #2 dye and box dye none the less in my hair, my hair was basically close to black. I use red and magenta alll the time and I feel like it does what I need it when I want red hair. Granted I did use a color stripper and a little bit of bleach to help take the color but that was my hair after a touch up, mainly a touch up on my roots because my roots had grown in a few inches.
