Hair coloring debate?

I have been dying my hair since 2009 and have never had any bad results (and if I did I was usually able to fix it). I naturally have dark brown hair, but right now I am blonde (sort of). Since March, I've bleached twice and used wella toners as well as color gel. I fixed the brassiness for the most part, but it fades out so quickly and I'm afraid if I keep bleaching my hair that I'll just end up pushing it over the edge. The problem is that I've worked so hard to get it to where I want it but it may be too high maintenance for me to keep up with. Is there any solution y'all can think of to get my hair to stay an ashy/frosty blonde without fading (besides purple shampoos - been there, done that)? The other option is to just cut to the chase and go down to a black cherry color.

This is where it's at now. I think I probably need one more bleach application to get it up a level and my problems may be solved!! Anyone have any ideas?

I realized after I used up a bottle of toner that it was a bunch of bologna, so I started going with the gel color. Right now my purple shampoo/conditioner is Shiny Silver Ultra, which I use 2-3 times a week. My regular shampoo is Pantene color protect. I also used a hair repair masque called Last Call by Beyond the Zone, and additionally a TresEmme keratin masque 2-3 times a week. Finally, I use Generic (the brand) leave-in conditioner. Since I started using all this stuff, there has been a dramatic change in my hair texture, but I don't want to just reverse it. I've never done a protein filler, though it would probably be beneficial considering my hair is already very fine.

I agree with Hailey, and I think you are using the right hair products, except for the shampoo. Pantene shampoos contain sulfates that remove hair color from the hair and are damaging. I suggest switching to a sulfate free shampoo, or a cleansing conditioner. Some suggestions:

Well I think the real question is what exactly do you want your end result to be? Could you pull up a picture?
