I have a problem! Need any advice you ladies have!!

When I wear darker matte lipstick colors (usually liquid lipsticks, like Colourpop's Tulle or Nyx Copenhagen), I get this weird line inside my lips so when I talk or smile, you can see a clear line between my lips and the liquid lipstick!!

I exfoliate, moisturize, line, then put on the liquid lipstick! Is there any way to fix this or to help make it not so noticeable?

thanks :)

The line is right where the texture changes from your lips to the inside of your mouth, isn't it? There's not really much that can be done about that, lipstick doesn't really stick to the inside of your mouth, but have you tried applying lip liner over your entire lip and then your liquid lipstick? It may adhere better to the lip liner.

It is! I line my whole lips and use the No Bleeding Lips liner on the outer edges. I hate that I can really wear matte liquid lipsticks out because I feel so self conscious about the line! 😕

I wouldn't worry about it, you're probably the only one who notices =)

If you're that worried, maybe go under your matte lipstick with a regular lipstick of the same shade? hmmm, that may be a lot of product...this sounds like one of those situations where a lot of trial and error is best

That's normal and it bugs me too but try ombré lips so the lipstick line won't be as noticeable since the middle of your lips will be a lighter color
