Shaving, waxing, hair removal cream what do you suggest. I have quite dark body hair and am very lazy when it comes to getting rid of it I am just wondering What one lasts longest, takes longest, is less painless, less work, and just your thoughts on all of them, mostly leg hair. Alsofeelfree to leave other hair removal methods😀

Shaving is my preferred method for removing leg hair. It will grow back fast, but it's the cheapest and less painful way to go. Waxing isn't bad because it won't grow back for a while, but it is more painful and I just personally don't prefer it. It really depends on you personally though. If you don't like the hassle of shaving, then waxing is a great alternative!

I wax most times, I prefer waxing and for me it doesn't hurt

I would say go with an epilator. I just started about 6 months ago, the first time hurts like hell, but you get used to it fast and it's so worth it, I can epilate now in about ten minutes and no hair for weeks, before I had to shave every single day.

I shave and try to exfoliate before hand.

I am with Kelly H. Using an epilator is easy and quick.

For me, I had thick coarse leg hair that grew fast. Epilators hurt more than waxing IMO. My mom likes hers but for my hair type, NO.
I would put the epilator in one section and it would keep pulling out hairs due to how dense my leg hair were so it hurt SO much. Just kept pulling hairs and pulling hairs.

At least with waxing, there was some pain but at least you got it over with in one go rather than constantly. Plus when you wax, the skin sorta thickens and so when you wax more, it doesn't hurt as much plus it even exfoliates your skin.
With epilators it only pulls the hair. So it feels just as painful much later.

With shaving, my leg hairs would be prickly within 12 hours.
Then I'd constantly have to put on a new razor due to how thick my hairs were, plus I'd get razor burn and bad ingrown hairs and hyperpigmentation.
Until I started using a cream with capislow.
There's this one body lotion from target called "hair don't grow there" and it's like $10 and you is it as a moisturizer and it really slowed down my hair growth. I would easily be able to shave and not have to for at least a day or MAYBE two.

Then, I invested in the Remington I-light pro which is kinda like the tria laser but cheaper IMO and it actually works!
I've done a few treatments and I have patches that are bald on my legs that haven't grown back, I have to keep using it since hairs aren't all on the same cycle so once I get them all on the right cycle I'll have even better results.

My legs hairs are noticeably more sparse, waxing and epilators don't hurt nearly as bad either.

Epilators don't really hurt on my own legs but each person has their own pain tolerance!

Waxing is fast and effective, as is sugaring! Probably still my preferred choice :)

Shaving is a quick fix but I would suggest it as an extra step after waxing or if you are willing to keep up with it every day... The downside of shaving is the fast regrowth... It takes longer for the hair to grow back when you are ripping the bulb off.

Essentially I agree with Aurora ;)

I primarily wax, but since that takes me a few hours in one sitting, I'll use a hair removal cream, like Veet or Nair, in a pinch. I literally haven't taken a razor to my legs in years, so when my hair does grow back, it's soft and fuzzy, not prickly at all. And the more you do that, the finer the hair gets, and eventually you don't have to do it as often. So that's a major bonus of waxing/Veet-ing/not shaving.

Waxing is most effective in my opinion, but it does hurt, and takes a long time (maybe an hour or so for both legs below the knee, doing it myself at home). Shaving is quick and painless, but hair grows back in a matter of hours, and in a prickly, very unpleasant manner. Not sure what an epilator is, and haven't tried laser, myself. It's really a matter of preference, which procedure vs. aftermath you'd rather endure. :)

I just shave. I've waxed and used creams like Nair before but it's more time consuming and I just don't have that time anymore. And when I shave I lather conditioner on and then shave and it leaves the skin soft and smooth :) Also I don't know how you feel about this but when I shave I go by the moon's cycle. Hair removal during the darkest hour of the moon and it grows back at it's slowest.
