Been back and forth deciding whether I should just splurge and purchase one of the Mia face brushes or just save my money and find another alternative... opinions?

What's your idea of another alternative?
If you are using just your hands to cleanse your face, than any tool (sponge, regular brush, wash cloth ) in general will do a much better job.
If you deal with a lot of clogged pores then I think a sonic cleansing device will help tremendously due to the sonic pulsations that help just more than the very outer layer.. but it is very important to remove all make up/sunscreen before applying your cleanser and using your brush especially since bacteria can build up so easily on them.

Also keep in mind that these devices are for cleaning the skin, they aren't acne treatments! They help prevent a lot but to get rid of current acne its best to get it extracted and focus on healing it.

The Clarisonic Mia is the best investment I've made for my skin. It gives the deepest clean and it's helped my skin go from oily to much more normal because of how much it clears out the pores so moisturizers and spot treatments can really go deep into the skin and work much more effectively. I highly recommend it (:

I would absolutely flip out if my Clarisonic died. I adore it so much. I use mine every night, and nothing has ever made my skin feel so clean or smooth before, including scrubs. It is perfect for just taking off every potentially really gross or harmful thing that could've gotten into your skin during the day. I honestly would go and buy another one on the spot if my current one were to die.
I will add, though, that my skin is dry but not at all sensitive, I can do basically whatever I want to it and it's usually fine, but if your skin is really sensitive then be careful with the Clarisonic because sometimes the brush head can irritate more sensitive skin.
