So lately my foundation has been oxidizing or something. It changes after a few minutes on my skin. It goes a little darker and more orange. Does anyone have tips on how to keep it true to colour?

My first question would be, how old is the foundation? Like anything, overtime, things break down. Assuming it's newish, it can be a shade issue. I'm not sure where you are in the world, but if you go a couple shades lighter in the winter, what looked awesome in the summer would start changing as you get lighter while the foundation stays the same. Last thought, it could be changes in your skin as well. Has you skin changed? More oily? More dry? Your body chemistry is a factor here. Maybe we can narrow it down to the cause to help find a solution?

Try a primer as well. That helps it not change with the oils on your skin.

That happens to me too but only with certain foundations. And it's something about my face being suddenly oily because if I swatch it on my hand it also changes color. So I would just get another one I still haven't been able to find a fix for this problem you.you.

It is a new foundation. Este Lauder. It starts out great but as soon as it dries and sits for a few minutes it changes. Yes I also go lighter in the winter because I am in Canada I change colour all the time haha. Thank you for the tips
