To get it to heal faster make sure it breathes. But it you need to cover it up make sure you wash it off after you get back home. Wounds and stuff like that always need air and oxygen in order to heal and repair itself faster.

Go get yourself Optima Organic Tea Tree cream, I get mine from Holland & Barrett here in the UK. Use a bud and apply on the spot. This is an antiseptic cream. My kids used to apply it at bedtime and by morning it had dried up. As long as you remember never to touch it before washing your hands and ALWAYS use a new bud so there is no cross contamination. Hope it works for you.

I suggest putting aloe vera on it. Apply regularly. It helps the healing process and speeds it up.

I'm not sure how to help you get rid of it, (maybe neosporin since it seems to be a cut/scab now?) but I can tell you how to lesson the obviousness of it on your face. Texture can't be helped, it's going to have texture. But to neutralize some of the color you need a green pigment and some concealer. The trick is not to use a lot, that will only add to the texture. When using green, the color does the work, not the amount of product. Dab some green on it, dab some concealer on top of that, and be sure to take it off at the end of the day.
