What is my face shape and how should I contour and highlight for my face?

I got the maybelline master conceal in 50 deep for contour
I have the dream lumi concealer in ivory for highlighting my face.
I also have the wet n wild doce de leche palette for setting the cream products

Your face is heart shaped, I think. I'm really bad at identifying face shapes.

To contour, using the Maybelline Master concealer: ~ outline your forehead; on the sides, bring it a tiny bit toward the center of the forehead.
~ suck in your cheeks to get an idea where your cheekbone is, place the brush in the hallow of your cheeks to get a feel for where they are, and contour right along that area. Be careful not too bring it in too close to the mouth.

To highlight w/ dream lumi concealer: ~ highlight the under eye making a triangle shape; I like to bring the highlight a little in more towards the nose and highlight the inner corner of my eye.
~ highlight the center of the nose

make sure to blend, until everything looks soft and natural. I think you have beautiful features, and you can get away with only highlighting :)

I think a more important question to ask is, "what particular part of your facial structure are you trying to visually alter"? What part do you dislike, want to enhance or trying to detract attention from?

Thank you Jasmine :) That was very helpful.

Marleen, I just like the look of a very contoured bronzy face, but if I had to choose features I dislike, my nose would definitely be the main one.

Ideally, It would be easier to give you some ideas if you had specific areas you wish to address, such as I want to slim my face or give my widen a thin face. But since you haven't given any specific areas other than your nose, then I would use your face shape as a guide. Here is an example of a contouring chart that would flatter your face shape.

Sorry for not being as specific. I'm bad at giving specifics! I just want to help with my crooked nose wine I do want to slim down my face. Thank you for the picture example though :)

A crooked nose is tricky. I don't have a crooked nose but the left side of my upper bridge is slightly bonier. What I mean is , you can see my bridge bone protrude a little whereas in the other side, no bone showing at all. I'm sure that nobody notices it but me. And honestly I never noticed it until I started contouring about 10 years ago. I'm sure it's from a childhood accident. Anyway, I do have to contour one side different than the other.

I think you might have an oblong face shape. Here's an example /diagram on how to contour your face.

Katelyn, the reason why I chose Reese, is because she has a similar strong jawline like you. And by shading it, in contrast will make your cheekbones look higher, which you you can further enhance with highlight and a little blush to give your actual" cheeks a more angelic, cherub like look. The small highlight placement keeps it from further visually flattening your face. Too much highlight /concealer will work against giving you a more chiseled bone structure. Imo, this is specific to your face shape. Someone like Kim K. can use highlighter on a larger area because she has a small face (although I think her highlight is way too light and makes her look kinda pasty. jmo.) I would probably shade your chin a bit more to keep the attention on the cheek and cheekbone area. I thought it was important to explain why I thought this particular contouring chart would flatter you.
