Hey everyone. so my too faced better than sex mascara is finally all dried up and I of course need more. I love the way it makes my lashes look and while it isn't the most lasting it doesn't smudge on me. I need to get more but now that they have the waterproof version, and especially now that it's summer, I'm considering switching up. Has anyone here compared the two or even tried the waterproof one on its own?

I bought the waterproof version but returned it. Flaked and smudged so badly before even adding water. I wouldn't recommend. :(

I love the waterproof one. it's amazing deff try it out. It's the same as the original better then sex just waterproof.

I have both of them and I like the original more for sure. Waterproof mascaras are not meant to be worn daily, so I definitely would not recommend replacing your every day mascara with the waterproof one.

I've heard the waterproof one is the same as the original formula, just harder to get off. If you don't need a waterproof, I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks for the input so far guys. I have really watery eyes (well, it's mainly my left eye lol) so I do prefer a waterproof mascara, though I know they are not recommended for every day because they dry out your lashes and what not. but if I want it to stay more than an hour I at least need a waterproof top coat. I really like the elf one and I've been using that with the original better than sex.
Jamie can I ask what differences you noticed?
Taylor can I ask what you didn't like about it?

It made my lashes so clumpy and it dries very quickly. It's a pretty thick formula. I noticed my lashes didn't stay very volumized throughout the day. I used to wear the original better than Sex but then discovered the waterproof Maybelene falsies! this mascara is my go to!! it has a thinner formula, Hardley every clumps and keeps my lashes volumized throughout the day.

I found that the waterproof formula is a bit drier than the original, and isn't as buildable. I was able to get decent volume with the waterproof, but length not so much in my experience.
