I recently got the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops and have been mixing it in with my foundation.

What have you mixed the drops in with and what's the best combination you've found?

You can mix them with anything, moisturizers, primers, foundation, tinted moisturizers... Once I get mine I want to mix it with a great moisturizer so I can customize my own tinted moisturizer!

Thanks Sabrina! I was looking at mixing it with my moisturising spf.

I was more thinking about specific products people had mixed it with that gave particularly lovely results :)

Mixing it with spf is tricky. It can dilute it but also it's difficult to control the shade since most sunscreens have zinc (that white cast you get). As for specific products, it's going to be different for everyone, that's what makes this product so great! It's customizable for every person. It's just going to take some trial and error. I think I tried 7 or 8 concoctions before I landed on my perfect mix, which is 2 pumps forlan bb cream (colorless), pea size of colorstay foundation (for finish), and 2 custom cover drops. Though if I'm feeling lazy I mix it with a primer with pretty good results.

I mixed it with their SPF 30 primer and it worked great. It is a chemical based sunscreen so it doesn't give a white cast

You can mix it with an SPF product just make sure you're using the right amount of sunscreen.

I've read people aren't using enough which can result in them only getting 1/3 the SPF stated on the packaging so it's just better to get a product with a higher SPF to help with that.

I would recommend the neutrogena "pure and free liquid sunscreen broad spectrum SPF 50"

I make sure to use enough to cover my face(you have to play around with around how much you'd need prior to adding the custom cover drops)
and then use sunscreen by itself on my neck and chest.

I didn't really have an issue with it making my makeup lighter but I used a powder that matches my skin on anyway.
