I recently bought the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD foundation and I can't figure out which primer works best with it. When I was using the sample of it I was so in love with how natural it looked in all lights and now that I own it it's like I can't get that same look. I own a ton of primers and I don't remember which one I had been using with it at first. So my question is what is your favorite primer to go with it? I definitely have oily skin, but it isn't severely oily.

You could try their primer that's geared toward oily skin or the Smashbox photo finish Light (more lightweight than the original photo finish)

Yeah I've been looking at the MUFE ones. I'm not a fan of the regular smashbox primers, but I might give them another try. I've been using the Becca ever matte primer for my t zone and ether Smashbox primer water or Becca backlight primer for the rest of my face. The primer water didn't help me at all. I tried it with Porefessional because I haven't used it in forever and thought I might like it and that was a bad idea lol. I've been racking my brain and I think when I was sampling it I was using Cover Fx mattifying primer with anti acne treatment, which is weird because I'm not a fan of it with many of my other foundations.

I believe the MUFE HD foundation has a water/silicone base but I prefer the water based primer with it.
Some silicone base primers don't allow the foundation to sit as good on the skin but it really depends on which primer.

I'm not sure if it's compatible for everyone, but I use Embryolisse lait-crème concentré as a base for my Ultra HD and it looks great.
Your results may vary depending on your own skin type, I would expect...
But on me it looks great!

Aurora- Yeah I'm going to keep trying with the ones I have for now. I'm going to try some of my Laura Geller ones today. I'm trying to go a whole month without buying makeup. I'm on Day 5 and it sucks lol, but after this month is up I'm definitely going to be grabbing some new ones.
Breeze- I had never heard of that one before. I'm looking at it online right now and the reviews are pretty awesome. Thank you ladies :)
