My hair is crazy stubborn. The bottom is very curly but the top layers are more of just a wave. I'm trying to find a good styling product that will help even this out but not be crunchy/heavy/drying (mission impossible). Any good suggestions? :)

I have the same problem. Deva curl is nice. Not the best but its pretty good better than a lot of others I've tried.

Deva Curl may not be "the best," but it's completely sulphate-free and is moisturizing. No harsh, drying chemicals; clean. Curly hair needs moisture...
chemicals dry hair out. Also, not all products that claim to be "Sulphate-free" are. IMO :)

I find that a lot of products I've tried to date dry my hair out way too much. I've gotten into doing a weekly coconut oil mask which helps but.. the search continues.

What deva curl products do you like best?

Deva curl for sure! I'm working in a curly hair salon and honestly, they're the best. follow the instructions and your hair will be amazing. I'd use the strong hold gel.

Deva Curl is my holy grail!! You can't go wrong with any of their products! I specifically love their shampoo & conditioner, strong hold gel, and styling creme.

The No Poo Shampoo is amazing! You have to get used to zero lather - it's like washing your hair with conditioner! The One Conditioner smells so good and it's very light - you can leave a little in your hair when you rinse it if you want more moisture. You may have to try a few different products to get the effect you're looking for. One thing to keep in mind...the shampoo is so gentle, it does not remove heavier products. Stick to Deva Curl styling products, as they are all meant to work together.
