So I have been learning to contour & I'm using power but it seems to give an oily shine look and I'm not digging it. I've been wanting to try cream contour , what would you suggest? If so what brand should I get that would give my skin a good glow and natural finish?

If powder looks oily on you then cream will definitely look oily. What are you using to contour?

Cream contour will definitely make you more oily than powder. I have combo skin and I avoid cream altogether.. Make sure you're setting your skin with powder and using a good contouring powder too (Benefits Hoola and Too Faced Milk Chocolate Solei are my favesl)

^those are bronzers - not contouring powders or colors - your contour may have a shine to it because you are using a bronzer that is a warm color that makes your face look sun kissed - not contoured - your contour color should be imitate the color of a shadow on your face - watch Jordan liberty's video on why you shouldn't contour with bronzer and you will see what I mean - a bronzer can't sculpt your face properly like a true contour shade - no matter how matte or "cool" it may seem because bronzers by nature are warm in undertone and meant to give your face a sun kissed glow - which is the opposite of creating a shadow effect to sculpt your face.

Perhaps you're contouring with a bronzer that has shimmer?

I think bronzer with a contour product can work well together but I don't think a bronze by itself looks good on its own as a contouring product.
I'd suggest getting a grey toned brown or a grey color to contour.
I personally like to add a tiny bit of warmth by using a powder that's maybe a shade or two darker in a neutral shade to use as a transition shade for contouring then I go in with the cool toned powder to really sculpt/contour and it gives a nice effect that is not too cool toned and not orange or red either.

Cream contour is usually too emollient and you'd run the risk of it feeling greasy and looking oily if powder made you oily

Powder should soak up the oiliness from your skin. Are you using a matte powder?

I have the IT live , love , laugh vitality face disc and maybelline master contour. I've heard and been told IT cosmetics work really well and don't know why my makeup comes out oily. Hmm mystery...

If you're using different contour powders and still find the same result, it may be an issue of either face prep and prime or the foundation underneath. What products are you using prior to contouring?

Both of those products contain a bronzer and not a contour shade. The description on Ulta's website even says "featuring a bronzer" in the Maybelline FaceStudio Master Contour information. You should be looking for a cool toned, gray-ish brown shade to contour to create a realistic shadow effect. Using a bronzer, especially one that has any kind of shine/shimmer to it, won't create the same effect and is probably why it looks oily on you.
