Help With Eyelashes Please!?!

Okay so my eyelashes are blond and I have auburn ish hair so it looked kind weird, I paddle in the summer for a sport and I I'm kinda sick of wearing mascara on the water because it just rubs off, in tryed tinting them and but it just doesn't last long enough is there a way to get them darker naturally, it would mean a lot of you have any tips/tricks thanks <3.
