My skin is ALWAYS red and if it's so oily but also has a lot of dry patches and at this point I'm willing to spend however much I need to get the perfect foundation.

Go to Sephora and get color matched. I am very pale but suffer from red skin and they matched me with make up forever mat velvet foundation and it is my absolute favorite. Amazing foundation. Also grab their color corrector. It is like a lip gloss tube but filled with green paste. Blot it over your red areas and pat it on with your fingetips. Itll leave a green hue to your skin to offset the red. Once you put the foundation over it, you will be redness free. It does leave you very flat toned so youll have to use blush/bronzer to give color back. If you contour at all, I'd pick up smashbox's contour kit while youre there. Has great contour/bronzer/highlighter/glow colors. Amazing palette. All in all with those 3 things, youll be up to $115 and eligible for a free product if you sign up for their beauty insider card. Totally worth it.

Sorry for info-dumping you. I just really feel your pain and these products gave me control over my skin again.

Best of luck!!

Hi there Miss Destiny! I feel your pain! I'm a bit on the pale side and I have super bright red areas! A product that REALLY helped me with this was the Smashbox color correcting primer. It's the green one. Like Sophia said, it'll off set the red, as well as work to cover some of those dry patches. What I like best about this primer is that I can pair it with almost any one of my foundations, both full coverage and the more lighter coverage ones. Of course there's those rules about water based primers silicone based primers and oil based primers to follow! However, if those dry patches and very very dry, you might need to get a good moisturizer to prevent any foundation from separating in that area. About 3 months ago I had an awful dry patch that even bled occasionally and my derm had to prescribe me a moisturizer, it was called Afisiogel Lotion, but it fixed the issue and now I just use it on the dry spots when they resurface!

Hello Destiny,
I would recommend getting a green primer or color corrector and correcting which ever areas you have on your face that tend to be red and after that I would recommend you go for a mattifying foundation since you are oily. One of the best foundations for all day wear and oily girls I think is the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place foundation. They have over 40 different shades so you are bound to find the correct shade you need. After that, you could apply concealer of your choice. My favorite is the Nars creamy conceals. Following, I would apply a loose powder to set the concealer. You are welcome to set the rest of your face with a powder but I find that because the Estée Lauder foundation is so good, you don't need to set it with powder. (: hope this helps!

Myer, Este Lauder Double Wear. $50 and works perfectly. Using primer underneath. Don't use a moisturiser your skins already oily

Hi Destiny!
I personally also have red-toned skin with very oily spots and very dry spots. I use a mattifying primer (Benefit's Matte Rescue) on the oily spots, and then I use Too Faced Born This Way foundation. It's full overage, so it helps mask my redness. And it contains coconut water so it also adds some hydration without making my super oily!
Hope this helps!
