I have recently been trying to find a way to clear my skin especially after trying so many products, brushes, scrubs, and masks. I came across Acne.org and gave really informative and basic information, I especially wanted to share with you all that may suffer with acne or breakouts.

One thing I found interesting is that they suggest avoiding mechanical exfoliation; facial scrubs, wash clothes, brushes, microdermabrasion. This causing irritation and irritation leads to acne. Instead of use a chemical exfoliant such as glycolic acid.

For those that have sensitive skin, yes the physical exfoliation could irritate the follicles which cause acne.

Acne could also be caused by fabric softeners (our faces tend to rub on pillow sheets)
Some people get acne from dairy, fragrances in products.
Quite a lot of things but you really have to try each thing to see what could be the issue.

Yeah I avoid physically exfoliation as much as possible because I have sensitive skin with psoriasis as well as cystic acne - and I find chemical exfoliants are much more gentle and they work better on acne anyways - at least for mine - I use a glycolic foaming cleanser by Mario badescu once a week and a BHA when my acne is bad but my psoriasis isn't flaring up.

I'd rather go for Dermpura facial foaming cleanser which helps in protecting, repairing, and renewing skin. It deep cleans and removes oils and skin-dulling impurities.
