Have any Of you guys thought of it? And if you have done it what are the pros and cons, My boyfriend's going to buy them for me and I want to find the best plastic surgeon ever PS should I do saline or silicone and I am 17 years old and very insecure

It depends on if you reeaally want them. Other than it being totally expensive, I heard that it can also be painful too. And after several years or so, you actually have to get them replaced. So it's not like a "one surgery and your done" kinda thing. I would look into it more..do some research and also think if you would reeaally enjoy them.

First of all, i totally support people doing as they please with their bodies: if implants make someone happier, for whatever reason, then i support them in that.
However, since you're 17, i would advise you to wait a couple years... your body probably isn't done maturing, and a decision like this shouldn't be fueled by insecurity... although i understand: i've been there... and in all honesty, the boyfriend angle is a HUGE red flag for me...
At one point i had a boyfriend who told me that i was "beautiful, but" and suggested implants. At that time, i had a horrible relationship with my body, which i thought of as a soft mass with no waist, breasts, or ass... and i agreed with him: i thought i would be better off with implants. However, it wasn't that i WANTED implants, so much as that i DIDN'T want my body, my proportions, my silhouette... and i started reading up on implants.
... luckily, i mentioned all of this to a friend! She exploded, horrified that i didn't see the beauty of small breasts, and attempted to 'deprogram' me from the cult of DD's. She sent me pictures of small breasted celebrities, small breasted pin-ups, small breasted nudes from art history, even, to my shock at the time, small breasted porn. After about a month of this i was ready to agree that small breasts could be as beautiful as large breasts... and i told my boyfriend, who kind of laughed at me, and that was the end of that.
Fast-forward to present: i'm happy with my body and have been for a long time. I have a boyfriend who prefers small breasts, a wardrobe that flaunts small breasts, and an assumption that others will be just as contented with my physique as i am. As i look back on that part of my life, i'm VERY glad i didn't get implants!
I can't tell you whether implants are a good choice for you in the long run... but in my opinion, they probably aren't the best plan right now.
Hope that helps!

I think a lot of females have wanted breast enhancements because they feel like it'd make them feel better. But sadly , when they get them they don't feel good about themselves , it's also very painful. And plus , I've heard of some females who grew between the ages 16-20 , but you never know right ? But on the other hand, if you feel like it'd make you feel better , go for it ! It's your body , do whatever you want to it. But make sure it's your decision , no one else's.

No it's MY decision not anyone else's, I've struggled with body issues for years but also cause of this hormonal disease thing I have , my boyfriend doesn't want me to get the surgery but he said he supports me through whatever so hell pay

I would definitely wait a few years hunny at 17 your body is likely to do a lot more changing before you hit 25

Wait - what?
Your BOYFRIEND is going to pay for your implants and you're 17?! How old is this guy?
Seriously. Dump the bro. Now.
I hit 25 and realized that I wasn't as perky as I was when I was 16/17...and I'd still reach for a pushup bra and exercises before I would reach for a scalpel. Cosmetic surgery is still SURGERY. There are risks and recovery time, the possibility of infection, the possibility of a horribly done job that takes thousands of dollars to correct...I could go on.
Get implants when you can afford to buy them for yourself. If you still want them by that point, which is unlikely.

And smh nothing ever goes my way so I doubt ill grow , I already had early bad grosperts at a young age because again I have an ovary disease thing called PCOS
Jan 21, 2013

PCOS is very common unfortunately I've been dealing with it for over 10 years now...and my doctors have advised against ANY elective surgeries because the unpredictable hormonal surges caused by PCOS can GREATLY increase the chances for risks while under anesthesia...PCOS is manageable though Hun...it gets easier once you learn more about your body and how PCOS affects it

I haven't really talked about much to my doctors or anything , just have been on webMD to see the. The symptoms after my doctor was looking over my body and noticed I have the extra hair growth all over my body n the acne at age 9 n oily skin and Etc....

Depression and mood swings are all part of PCOS your hormones control EVERYTHING...but if you haven't had an ultrasound to confirm cyst on the ovaries I would suggest getting that done ASAP because the symptoms you listed are usually caused by severe hormonal fluctuation BUT that can be caused by numerous things not just PCOS I suggest having further test done to rule out a more serious medical problem

Know one believes me or takes me seriously .... I've tried to get help n tel friends n family All they tell me is that I'm just being a teenager But I really do feel like there's something wrong with me .... Obviously I was right if when I went to the gynecologist and he looked me over and told me about my weight gain and the extra hair and the act me and everything was part of the ovary conditions that I could have I was right!

Jan 21, 2013

For PCOS? No...birth control can help some cases...but not all...but you don't know for sure that its PCOS until you have an ultrasound
Jan 21, 2013

If your boyfriend loves you the way you are then why change yourself? Some guys like small boobs, you are also still growing! Your size could increase just wait.

I've had PCOS since I was 10, have an ultrasound and a blood test to confirm you pill is the right one for you. I'm being put on a diabetic pill for my pcos (which I've been waiting 7 years to get put on)
I understand that you hate your life and your looks, because of the PCOS it can give you a chemical depression like I have, but after years of therapy and medication everything is looking up. You have to want to help yourself before anything will ever get better.
Jan 21, 2013

Kimberly are you talking about metformin?

if you're 17 your body probably hasn't fully matured. it'd be a good idea to wait until you're in your 20s..
