I would never bother with makeup if I was a dude. But it does look nice on some guys- I mean, Cpt Jack Sparrow!!! I love TOP and G-Dragon and their crazy styles. Also love rugged mountain men. So whatever floats your boat.

My SO wears foundation, he is 'metro sexual' I love the fact that he takes care of his body better than a 'manly man'

I think that mascara would be a little bit to much, but I wouldn't mind, if he feels good about it :-)

It's shocking to me when I hear women of all people, saying the things some of you are saying. Women fought so hard for so long to be treated equal to men, and to break down gender barriers, only for some of you to still hold men to cultural ideals of what they should be. Think about that the next time you put on a pair of jeans/pants, go to work, speak your mind, etc.

Men should have the freedom to express their own beauty in whatever way they please, and if it's through a tad bit or cake full of make-up,then so be it! c:
It doesn't bother me at all.

I 100% agree with Cameron. It upsets me to see women push stereotypical gender-roles so strongly.

I really don't feel that some the women who gave the OPINION is pushing sterotypical gender roles. They simple stated that they prefer their significant other to not wear make if it wasn't something they were doing from jump street.

Ema, I wasn't referring to what people were saying they personally did or didn't find attractive, only to those calling it "gross" or stating that certain things are "too much." Et cetera.

i love:
Manly men in makeup
Femme guys in makeup
Femme girls in makeup
Butch girls in makeup
Fluid genderqueer people in makeup
-but-
i don't like people who dictate how others should look!

That is a good point.

It is one to thing to say that you personally prefer something. It's like with shaving. You can prefer your boyfriend or your girlfriend to shave, or not to shave. (Although, in the end, it's not up to you and what you prefer.) (Notice how I used both genders/sex? ;D) It is another to call something gross, and to say something like "hand over his man card." It doesn't make a man less manly to wear makeup. Gender has nothing to do with what's between the legs and what he does or does not put on his face.
