I have never tried that kind but maybe it helps to know that L'oreal owns Lancôme and Maybelline. I use L'oreal voluminous with collagen (not sure if that's the exact name)
I know many people will disagree but for me personally - drugstore mascaras just don't compare (not the ones I've tried anyway) to high end mascara. YSL Faux Cils Volume Effet Shocking Mascara changed my lashes. I got it as a sample from Sephora & it's amazing. Chanel's mascara is unbelievable too. I've never tried Lancome Doll Lashes though.
