Good, bad? I have heard good things, bad things, and some really bad things. Some people love it and some absolutely hate it. Thoughts??
I have pretty fine, straight hair.

It might be a bit heavy for your hair type. I know for my thick hair it was just way too much. And the scent made me feel a bit ill. I'd try getting a sampler pack first before diving in for full size products because it is a bit pricey.

It's a waste of money. CO (conditioning only) methods have been around for a long time and Wen is just a hyped up brand name that they try to sell to you as a subscription a la $40 a pop. CO'ing can do wonders, but the vast majority of drug store conditioners contain mild surfactants in them that will do the same thing for pennies on the dollar.

It's kinda nice, but its really hard to get to the roots if you have thick hair.

I agree with Shelley, it will probably be too heavy. I have a similar hair type, on the thin side, and it weighted it down and left my hair really oily.

I guess I should add a memo to prevent user error. When you start CO washing, it's likely that your hair will be oily for a little while. Shampooing can be a pretty drying process and your scalp tends to produce a lot of oil to compensate. It takes a while for your scalp to adjust and produce less oil. You also have to be super thorough about washing it out, especially at the roots.

Kerstie - what would you recommend? What is your holy grail shampoo/conditioner??
I have really fine, dry hair. Gets oily pretty quickly.
