Just wanted to post an update, I've been using lemon juice on my fave twice a day to see it really does help reduce dark spots.....and it's been working for me!!!
I use it twice a day, once in the morning after I wash my face and at night as well. I just cut up some lemons and squeezed the juice out and poured it into a little bottle. I dilute it with some water because it does sting a little, not too bad. I also use the Physicians Formula dark spot corrector twice a day after I use the lemon juice. Some people say they wash it off but I let the juice dry into my skin.
I'd like to say that I have been using lemon juice for the last 3 days and can already see a difference!! :) My red spots are noticeably less inflamed.
@Miranda R. i dont think lemon juice would work well for the under eye area because dark circles come from under the skin as dark spots are more on the surface and plus you dont wanna put an acid on a sensitive area close to your eye. try putting a spoon in the fridge letting it chill and rolling it over your dark circles, itll get the blood flowing better and its safe :] hope this helps

I use lemon juice as a toner whenever I'm using it in the kitchen after I'm don't with using it in food. Over the years it's faded my dreaded freckles

Do u wash the lemon off after?

It should work for dark under eye circles, it's a natural skin whitener! I don't wash it off, I let it dry and apply a moisturizer
