Hmm..it depends on how your hair is naturally. I'd say blowdry/straighten and then use a curling wand at the ends. Use a wand instead of a regular curling iron. The results differ I promise!
I did this before when i had shorter hair.
First i would apply my chi silk infusion while it was wet
Then I would just blow dry my wet hair smooth with a paddle brush.
When it was dry i would take a large barrel curling iron and curl my ends in big chunks.
Or if your like me who doesn't really curl your hair anymore i would just curl my hair with my flat iron.
i wish i can just chop my hair off again so i can pull this off again haha.
The bigger brush the better *..when u get to the the top of your crown of your head round brush it up it give u more volume in your hair Or u could get one like that its brush n blow dry on one its good too if u can't do it whit a blow dry n around rush Just real easy jut have to play whit whit hair n u get. Don't for get do you hair in sections I do line from the back to the top I part my hair half up n down. The work up to the to my bangs then when im done i put in lil moroccanoil at the ends n go

Large barrel ion brush and a medium hot blow drier. Dry most way with a towel and work in sections to give it lift and life without being 'big'
