Rusk Elimin8 removed years of red haircolor from my hair. Its not as harsh as a color stripper. I used 2 applications in a row and then colored my hair my natural color of light brown. Ive recommended it to a couple people and they all had good results. My hair felt good after using it.

it depends if you want to go blonde or brown? blonde you would probably have to bleach brown you could usea ash toned perminant colour granted it might not stay long but after a few dyes the ash/green tone will actually conteract the red :)

@Ben it's not that bright maybe a copper red color I say . and getting it out been a pain tryed re dying it a darker shade but seems like there always red under tones. as much as I don't want to bleach might have to. going to 1st try the ladies ideas <3

A great color remover for black & red is bleach & Luke warm water. this will discolor the hair & remove color without processing. I'm a licensed stylist & I use this technique all the time.
