My hair straightener is starting to make this burnt smell, every time I straighten my hair my hair smells burnt, how can I fix this??

Get an hot iron cleaner I'm pretty sure you could find it at a drug store or at a local salon they would let you spray some on. It works well:) giv it a try

Use a shampoo that protects damaged hair. If you flat iron your hair a lot, you hair starts to get damaged from all the heat

No I don't do it a lot, in trying to grow my hair out that's why, but my hair straightener really smells burnt!

Have you cleaned the plates on your straighteners? A lot of product over time can build up on them so clean them regularly.
