Don't do Facebook or anything so this is my only forum I go on sorry its off topic but I know there's a lot of other women with kids on here.
I've always gone to Mercy and i had my daughter at Mercy but I've heard from a couple people that Kaiser is a lot better.
My husband just got full coverage from his work for Kaiser and I'm 9 months pregnant right now so were going to have our son at Kaiser But I still have my medical through mercy so I still have the option to go there. I just want some other mothers experiences at kaiser because I had a really good experience at Mercy so I don't want to change if having a baby at Kaiser isn't as good.
Thank you :)
Hey Alexis, I had my last child @ Kaiser 12 yrs ago and I had a wonderful experience. Pre and post care were excellent. Even today for his routine and follow up check ups I can always get him in anytime and the quality of care is excellent. I don't have any negative comments! Good luck to you and congratulations on your soon to be bundle of joy!!

I was born at kaiser its a nice good hospital I dont go there nomore cause my mom changed her insurance simply because its costly . Before I had my son I wanted to get him insurance for kaiser but it was to expensive for me.. I cant tell u how the delivery rooms are at kaiser but I know my mom would recommend going to Kaiser :) although my mom was 17 when she had me so I can see why she changed it
Hey Alexis! I just had my son @ Kaiser this past June and I absolutely loved my experience! The staff was very friendly, well organized and on top of everything. It was a very relaxed and stress free experience and I enjoyed every minute of it.
thank you all for your advice! :) I'm really excited about this I've never had kaiser so I just didn't know how they are and I want to have a good experience.
Kayla- did they circumsize your son at the hospital when u had him? Because mercy doesn't do it there anymore you have to make an apt to get it done somewhere else now but my friend told me that kaiser automatically does it cuz it's a health risk.
Then you should be fine! I would just worry about a repeat surgery but bcuz you had her naturally you will probably have a similar experience anywhere.
Oh ok cool :) I had a really easy labor with my daughter I was only there for 7hrs and only had to push for like 15min so I just don't want to be in labor for hella long cuz I know women that were in labor for days. Thank you for the advice :)
I'm hoping so. I know someone who was only in labor for an hour I wish I could get that lucky. Ahh damn I'm sorry that does not sound fun at all :/ my nurse had said that she loved dealing with my drs patients because all the babies he delivered came out easy and there was never any problems so I went back to the same dr lol but If I go to kaiser ill have a dif dr so I'm just praying everything still goes smoothly. How old is your child now?
It really sucked! Lol but overall ended great. She's 2 and a half. Youll be fine. Especially with your second. You know what to expect. You know what labor feels like. You have an awesome first experience. So if you don't like something let the dr know. Just remember you are the one delivering, they are there to assist you. I'm jealous, I want another one....but I'm loving my sleep too. Lol. Hopefully this year though.
