I think I have a pinky undertone but I never know and no one has ever told me... Since I have fair skin it really really shows when your foundation isn't the perfect shade... What's my undertone?!

What color or colors are your veins on your wrist?

I would say you have Cool undertone (pink) you can look at your veins - blue (cool) green (warm)
Also if silver Jewellery suits your you are probably cool. If gold -> warm. Or go to Mac store and they will help you out! Or sephora :)

You can check it yourself by looking at your veins. I don't remember the colors but you can find them on the Internet. The best option would be to go to sephora and have them match you. I posted a photo on here too asking because I had no idea and everyone told me I was yellow but when I got matched I was neutral. It's quite difficult to tell through a photograph, sephora or any cosmetics store that will match you will be the best option.

Your face seems to have a warmer-darker tone compared to your lower neck, it's very common (I'm like that too). (Is it self-tanner?) I was confused about my own undertone and talked to Jacqueline H, and she told me about the difference between a surface tone and an undertone. To see your true undertone looking at the veins on your wrist is your best bet: if you can't tell if they're green (yellow undertone) or blue/purple (pink undertone), you're most likely neutral.
A lot of people can have a slight red tone on their face from the sun, cold weather or irritation, or rosacea/acne, so it might make you get your undertone wrong if you only look at your face :)
So, unless you have fake tan on your inner wrost, take a good look at the veins :)

I agree to check your veins - it's hard for most normal people to tell your undertone just by looking at your skin.

From what I know -
cool means you have blue or purple veins on your wrist. your skin will usually have pink tones, silver jewelry flatters your skintone.
Warm means you have green or olive veins on your wrist. Your skin will usually have yellow tones, gold jewelry flatters your skintone.
neutral means blue-green/ or you can't tell what color the veins are, gold and silver jewelry flatters your skintone.
I don't think anyone can tell you your undertones through a picture honestly.

Shannie, yes! Although you would probably not be a pure neutral (it's rare at least), there's usually one prevalent undertone, see what flatters you most.
Les, what you said is right, although I must remind everyone that MAC uses C and NC for yellow and W and NW for pink based undertones, just to avoid confusion when you buy a foundation.

Breeze I'm not sure why MAC does that haha.
