Anyone have any recommendations for a sunscreen that doesn't disturb makeup during re application? I'm trying to take better care of my skin, but the thought of smearing sunscreen over my made up face makes me cringe. So I'd like a spray. But there's sooo many out there. Anyone tried one they liked?

You mean for reapplication purposes? I assume you're using an SPF underneath your makeup anyway, but if you're not definitely do that first. You can even use an SPF moisturizer. I'd recommend a powder sunscreen, actually. A lot of them are very good, but I personally like the Peter Thomas Roth sunscreen powder =)

I always been a little nervous about using a spray over my make up so instead I use an organic powder in spf form that I absolutely love. I reapply it a few times if I need to and it never looks cakey. It's from a Hungarian line called Eminence. Peter Thomas Roth has one as well.

Thank you ladies! @Hannah, yes I use a sunscreen under my makeup but I never reapply since I don't want to mess up my face haha. I will look into these powders. They don't make you look cakey if you apply it a couple times throughout the day?

I don't personally use a spray.I have spf in my bb cream. I find that it is very useful because I don't have to put sunscreen on my face besides the bb cream.

I think that if you're careful they won't make you look cakey. With spray, I'd be worried that I wouldn't be able to rub it in or anything. But, it never hurts to try, right?

I hadn't really considered that about a spray, but that's a very good point. I will try the powder. Thank you!

You can look for a powder form of sunscreen or in a spray bottle. I'm sure you could find lots at the pharmacy or Sally's -Peter Thomas Roth is what I'm currently using it's like translucent powder :p bioderma has a gel based sunscreen which is amazing SPF 100, looks good under make up cuz it doesn't have that chalky finish that most sunscreens have.

Do not rely on cosmetics to give you adequate sun protection. You will need to apply a nickel size amount of it to reap the benefits of SPF. I fell for that and on one side of my face (driving side) I had sun spots that popped up. Took me forever to get rid of the damage. What I do is apply a moisturizing face spf30 or 40. Then go in with my makeup. After it has set (aka cooked on my face) then I top it off with Colorescience Mineral Powder SPF50. I've been using it for several years and I love it. When its time for me to reapply I blot my face and then apply it all over my face and tops of ears (yep, ears need a lil protection). It doesn't cause my foundation to separate and sometimes I wear it alone if I don't feel like dealing with a cream based spf.

I use Monsia intense moisturizing day cream with SPF-15 and Boots #7 Foundation Match Made with SPF15. However, I still am very careful e.g. when I am looking after my vines, I wear a wide brimmed hat and wear long sleeves and gloves. I looked at the powders and I think I will be adding this.  Thanks.

@Aide I just purchase directly from them at their website. I think if you look under sales locations you can probably purchase somewhere in-store but I've seen the line carried at speciality beauty boutiques, dermo and facialist facilities.
