Hey beauties! I had a busy weekend- first a water park, then the beach, then a pool party. I got a terrible sunburn, and now my shoulders are peeling and splotchy. How can I help them look better and heal faster? Thank you! :)

With peeling? I thought aloe was just for the burn.

You can exfoliate but just do it gently just in case the skin is still slightly burned and follow with aloe vera/lotion.

Keep moisturising with a heavy duty moisturiser.

Do not exfoliate yet!! You will just end up removing skin that is not ready I go because the skin around a sun burnt area is extremely fragile. Take a bath first, about pool water temperature to get the water back in your skin. Then use a wash cloth to gently rub SOME loose skin off. You can also use scissors to trim off lifted edges to avoid the skin ripping off prematurely. Afterwards you can apply polysporin if it is open and some heavy duty soothing moisturizer to lock it in :)

Freeze aloe Vera in ice cube trays. They will be cold and feel good in the burn and the aloe will help the dryness

Aloe Vera should help but there are some type of lotions for after the sun or something you can get at Walmart but I'm not sure what their for, since I've never got on sun burn.
