What's a good sunscreen for the face? I need to start wearing it as I never do other than when I go swimming. (horrible, I know.)
I'm trying to rid my face of acne scars and I've heard the sun is the worst enemy for those pesky suckers..

For every day I like the body shop seaweed spf 15 moisturizer. And on warmer days I use the Aveeno one. It's in a bottle with orange writing and it's like spf 50 or something. But if you live in a warmer climate than Canada (which is like everywhere lol) then I'd definitely check out the Aveeno ones. They're gentle and they don't many out. They also have correcting ones. Like I've seen color correction, spot reducing, and fading acne scars so I'd definitely check them out lol. :)

I love the aveeno ones, it's in a brownish beigey tube, they leave my face looking a tad greasy although it doesn't feel greasy. Weird, huh..

I always use the Garnier BBcream, it's lightweight coverage and spf 20.

I swear by my broad spectrum, zinc-oxide based CeraVe. It comes in 30 and 50 SPF.

Many BB and CC creams aren't broad spectrum or claim they are, yet offer minimum protection. If you aren't using one that IS, you merely protect yourself from sunburn, but not those rays that cause wrinkles or other skin damage.

I've several that I use in rotation...Colorscience Mineral Powder SPF 50, Mario Badsecu Moisturizing SPF 30 (my current bottle will be my last as they reformulated it and doesn't play well with my foundations), Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF47 (I absolutely adore this one because it plays well with foundation and it sinks right into my skin not leaving behind an ashy cast), Skinceuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50, Loreal Silky Sheer Face Lotion SPF 50 and to protect my eyes Skinceuticals Physical Eye UV Defense SPF 50 ( this also acts as an eye primer as well for me). To really speed up healing process of acne scars using a daytime serum that contains vitamin c under your facial spf is a real game changer. The one I can't stop using because its been so good to me is Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough mixed with Philosophy Turbo Booster C Powder. SkinCeuticals also has a line of serums that offer the same antioxidant protection under their prevention line (my fave is the Serum 15 AOX+).

I'm a huge fan of Laroche Possay. I feel like the variety is amazing. They have for every skin type and different formulas. I would definitely invest into a good sunscreen. Its really helped fade my acne scarring. My dermatologist recommended Laroche for me and I really like it. Before I used to use l'Bel which was pretty good but did get slightly patchy at the end of the day. Aveene also has good products. Ask your dermatologist what is right for you and your skin type.

I just got and really like Tarte's Tarteguard 30. It's all mineral sunscreen and smells nice but doesn't break my skin out. It's light and not greasy and is actually a little hydrating. I definitely will be buying the larger bottle (they have a small one for $12 if you want to just try it first which is what I did.)

I second the LaRoche Possay. They're fantastic and don't make me oily at all.

I work as a field engineer so heavy sunscreen is a must have for me. I use the Aveeno one mentioned by Alyx, then a loreal sublime sunscreen with SPF 100 at times and recently I am using one from peter thomas Roth...I like the Aveeno the best...but if I am out in the sun for the whole day I prefer the loreal one!
