How can I treat sunburn on my face? How do I get rid of it faster?

I'd try aloe vera gel, it always helped me :)

Cool it off before you apply anything only to, otherwise you are trapping the heat in your skin. You can use a cool wash rag to soothe your face for a few minutes, and then apply some pure aloe, straight from the plant if possible. Afterwards you want to be sure to keep it moisturized to avoid premature peeling

Yeah, use Aloe, I would try to stay away from foundations, they'll only sit on your skin, make it harder to apply more aloe, and just melt off because your face will be hot.

Freeze the aloe for added relief!

Aloeeeee, from the plant is better, but if you have gel, that's fine too. Cool it before putting it on.

Before going to sleep at night. Use ice and rub it all over your face to cool your skin down and reduce the redness. For removing the marks use plain yogurt. Make a paste out of it and apply it on your face massage in circular motion leave it on for 10 mins and wash it off with water! Helps a lot!!

If you are using ice on your face, don't apply it directly. Apply it wrapped in a paper towel, direct ice can cause trauma on your skin due to the shock and can cause broken capillaries.

ALOE GEL.! My sister is white n gets bad burns. What you do :
wash your face with whatever cleanser you use (warm water ) then cold water n pat dry your face... apply aloe gel to your face n put a cold towel on your face. fades within about 2 days.

If you're not wanting to use aloe, coconut oil is also very good for treating sunburns. However, DON't go outside right after applying it, oil and sunlight are not a good mix. Apply it before bed.

Coconut oil tends to clog pores. I personally wouldn't use it on my face.

Your skin continues to "cook" for up to 8 hours after sun exposure, which is why sometimes when you wake up your more burned than when you went to bed. Take a cold shower or ice it immediately to stop the burning. Apply aloe and a gentle moisturizer. Drink plenty of water and the key to healthy skin is prevention. Apply sunscreen every 2 hours if you're in the direct sun. SPF 30 blocks 98% of the suns rays, and try to find a physical block rather than chemical. Zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
