Ok so I have too faced melted coral. It's so orange on me but with blotting it looks great (I think). My issue is that it seems to separate on my lips. How can I prevent this?

Have you tried layering it over a base of some kind? Too Faced makes a Lip Insurance, and Urban Decay has a pencil called Ultimate Ozone whose purpose is to serve as a lip primer. I'd suggest one of those, and if those aren't possible then maybe it might make sense to use a ton of lip balm underneath and see if that helps the problem.

I've used sephoras universal lip liner all over. Also bought NYX pencil in natural and it is so soft it keeps breaking and is darker than I thought. Also I use lipcote on top and it still doesn't stay on... Bahh

Yikes. Have you tried it with nothing else at all?? Maybe the issue is you're using too many things. This is a frustrating problem.

I think I need to try on bare lips. Maybe making sure it dries blot, and doing a 2nd coat? I just want it to stay on! Lol nice become more obsessed with NYX matte lip butters. Bought my 2nd one and omg that sh*t stays on!

I agree with you try it on bare, I personally don't think 2 coats is necessary if you don't blot... Are you blotting to make it last longer?

Jackie, I have that issue with the coral too. I use an eos lip balm in the beginning of my makeup routine so it moisturized by the time I put the lipstick on. I do two thin coats and letting it dry in between.

I feel like I do moisturize my lips but maybe not enough... Time to experiment

I just fell for the shades Chihuahua and Fig...I found just moisturizing with a lip balm prior to application is best. Like Hannah mentioned these best perform without additional products. Or maybe fill in your lips with a lip pencil then go in with the Melted Coral.

Exfoliate your lips with some sort of lip sugar, I have a few of them and it then shows every imperfection of your lips. Then I use mac prep and prime, apply one coat let5 it dry and add another if you want a more intense look.
