First off, is this outfit too much for a summer time wedding? And second, do these shoes go with the dress?

Do things go with the dress?

It depends on how casual/formal the wedding is. I think it's really cute, but I'm not sure I'd wear bright red to a wedding because you don't want to take attention from the bride. However, some brides are more high maintenance than others lol so if you think the couple wouldn't see it as a big deal then go for it. Oh, and also, I don't know where you live and how the weather is, but long sleeves would be way too hot for summer where I'm from. So yeah, that's just anything thing to think about.

I think it's to simple if you war young like this dress is ok but when you go there they are wearing dresses that are not simple at all you so wear somthing that is fashionable and not casule but the shoe fit the dress pretty hood but If ut was me no no I won't wear it.

I totally agree with Jamie. Maybe that dress in a nude color something that doesn't stand out to much. and yes the shoes do go with the dress :-)

On the contrary, red is absolutely fine to wear to a wedding. The only color that you want to avoid is wearing white, since the bride should be the only one in white. Trust me, unless you're wearing next to nothing or wearing a white dress, there is absolutely no way you can upstage the bride. Just make sure you're dressed according to the dress code (black tie, formal, cocktail attire, etc) so that you're not over or underdressed.
