Hi all, I've decided that in my last year of school in Florida I'm going to finally cave and buy a pair of rain boots. However, the reason I've never bought a pair is because I think that rain boots are so, so unattractive. I hate how clunky and weird they make your feet look. But, I also hate that I half-ruin my nice cowboy boots every time I wear them in the rain. So I guess really what I'm looking for are waterproof shoes, or at least rain boots that don't look like rain boots. I am at such a loss with this! Any help at all would be appreciated.

Haha I think rain boots can be so cute! Have you looked at Hunter rain boots, they are expensive (they are in denmark at least) but really cute!

I would try hunter rain boots the price range is 90 to 200 but there cute and different styles :)

I found these that I think are kind of okay, they're a thinner material but they still really look like rain boots. http://us.hunterboots.com/product/original-packable-tour-gloss-rain-boots I like the green a lot though.

I'd look into waterproof shoes. I don't know how much it rains there. Where I live it is flip flops and shorts year round, haha :)

Where I go to school it's about 85 degrees fahrenheit all year round, but it does rain often, so rain boots are a relatively good idea. I'm just tired of ruining shoes I actually like.

They're more expensive than Hunter, but Burberry rain boots are the best aside from the signature check print that everyone has. I have a solid black pair that look like riding boots. They also have some cute ankle styles as well :)

I was looking at the Burberry ones, actually! I just can't justify $300 on something I'm not going to wear all the time. Plus, since the Hunter ones are cheap I can wear them to rainy football games and not be worried about ruining them.

I live in my rain boots, especially during the winter. We get a ton of snow here, which becomes disgusting slush! Hunters are really cute too. My old pair lasted around 5 years. Since you're not going to be wearing them too often, they'll last forever and I'm loving that green color.
