I want to start contouring, but I don't want those warm contour looks. I want a natural contour. When I look at some contour palettes for African american girls, I feel intimated because I think it would be too warm on me. Despite me having a warm undertone, I do like the natural shadow look.
I kind of fall in the warm medium-dark spectrum. Cream or powder would be fine, it doesn't matter the formulation. What are some good contour products?

Unless you're going to be doing other peoples makeup palettes are kind of useless. you really just need one good contour and one good highlight color. I love the elf turks and Caicos but you said you didn't want anything warm and I kind of torn towards it once I found a powder that didn't have any type of shimmer. I use the black radiance pressed powder in rich mahogany. to me its not cool, or warm it it very neutral and it is a very dark powder. I know loreal has a line for warm netruals and cools I can't remember the name of the line but I do believe it is loreal. I'm pretty sure you can find a dark powder or foundation conceal, whatever you choose to contour with in that line that Is cool or netrual. I contour with cream and powder but I think powder is easier to work with. hoped I help.

I'd recommend the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder, as it is made specifically for contouring and sculpting your face. With a light hand, it'll give you a very natural looking contour, more of an enhancement rather than a whole game changer :)

Lili, I've played with it a couple of times so far and really like it. I'm quite the novice and it didn't scream contouring done here!
