I want to invest in a really good foundation for school.
what are your opinions on tarte amazonian clay foundation?
I want a foundation that's:
- lightweight
- medium coverage
- lasts the whole school day (maybe touch up once)
- buildable

I have their bb tinted treatment thing and I absolutely adore it! Really nice coverage without caking. Sorry I haven't tried their foundations but am looking forward to seeing the reviews! Also the bb treatment has a built in primer so it lasts for a long time :)

I disliked the tarte amazonian clay foundation. I actually returned it which I never ever do, I usually keep something even if I don't like it and find use for it because I hate returning stuff. I bought the tarte foundation the same day I bought the estee lauder double wear so that may be why I disliked it so much because when comparing the two the double wear is soo much better in my opinion. DW can feel a little thick but I don't mind it, I sometimes mix a tiny bit of my moisturizer in with it if I want to thin it out a little but usually I love it as is.

I would suggest mac prolong wear or urban decay naked skin. Both are medium coverage and last 10 plus hours on me. Urban decay feels lighter on the skin however mac doesn't feel heavy but you can still feel it. Also touch ups are minimal for me with both foundations 2 times max. I have combo oily skin for reference.
