Thanks for anyone answering. So, what are your fav bronzers and how do you apply them for natural everyday looks? I think some bronzers are too orange.

Are you looking to actually bronze your face, or to contour?

I use either chocolate Soleil by too faced, Benefit Hoola or nars laguna for bronzer. I apply the bronzer with a very large fluffy brush with minimal product to start ( & add more if needed) or use a large fan brush. I apply it where the sun naturally would hit, the high points of your face, and afterwards I blend it all out even more with a clean large fluffy domed brush the same way I do my blush.

Kaitlin - Something in-between. To give my face definition and bronze :) and nice cheekbones

I love benefits hoola bronzer. It's not overly orange but it is still warm and since it is matte enough it will still cause your features to recede and define your face.

I really love the NYC Color Wheel in All Over Bronze Glow. It's matte so good for contouring yet just as good as a bronzer :) 👍

Don't use a bronzer to contour. Get a separate product for that. However you can put bronzer on your cheekbones to make them stand out a bit more :)

She doesn't want a prominent contour^ anything darker will still recede so a bronzer will give her the subtle look she wants

Brittany, bronzer is made to warm up the skin and really doesn't define your cheekbones when put in the hollows of your cheeks, it's honestly just looks like a bunch of makeup on your face. You don't have to use a contour powder, just pop some bronzer on your cheeks and it gives some subtle definition.

She's not asking for a contour product thought. The way colour works is that dark recedes and light comes forward regardless of undertone. Will a bronzer recreate shadows on her face? No. But that's not the look she was going for, and a warm bronzer when placed in the "E3" formation will warm the face will she want it but also by the simple laws of light and colour cause her face to recede slightly.

You can use bronzer to contour and bronze the skin, it just depends which bronzer you get. There are soo many that can do both jobs for you depending on where you place it and how you apply, benefit hoola, bobbi brown sell a bunch of colours, sleek contour kits work well, I personally like Mac's mineralize skin finish natural a few shades darker than my skin tone to bronze.

I know she isn't asking for a contour product, I clearly stated that putting bronzer on your cheekbones will make them stand out without using a contour product.

I think what Riff was trying to say is you can't contour with bronzer because, yes, bronzer is meant to warm up the face. where as contour is a grey or brown based shadowing color to carve out the facial structure. Anyways, I do agree that many bronzers are too orange, however the Bobbi brown shimmer brick in bronze is beautiful for bronzing (:
