I've got very oily skin and I use it with my hourglass mineral veil primer and it lasts a surprisingly long time without needing to touch up. I love it. It's just as good as covering as double wear but without the thickness, it literally feels like wearing nothing :)

I loved the sample I got! I did get pretty oily on my t-zone and chin, but not as bad as with sheer glow. I also didn't use a primer so that might have bee another reason. But other than that I loved it!

I love this foundation. it's absolutely gorgeous and so light on the skin. but I do have one problem. I have a hard time getting my bronzer to not look muddy with this foundation. but it's so pretty that sometimes I don't care

I returned it. I like it, but didn't love it. I found it only applied nicely with a beauty blender and did have awesome coverage but did nothing to controll my oil. it also broke up around my nose needed to be powdered quite a bit. I wasn't impressed with it.

I agree with Kelly. Also, if you're a real oil slick like me, the foundations separates all over and fades... I used it for about a week or so and I want to exchange it for the DW. Is the DW ok for everyday use or is it too heavy looking?

I love the double wear. I am soo oily and it literally lasts all day! I highly recommend it. and thanks ladies :) ill prolly pass on the nars foundation for now.

Hi Ladies!
Best advice for this foundation: from a NARS Professional...

Here is the trick with this foundation: All Day Wear is meant to be worn strictly on clean skin and applied with fingers only.

One pump for the whole face, not recommended to layer if your only using the foundation solely. This velvet matte-finish is more weightless and long wearing worn this way.

(If your one that loves using the tools: like your fingers in combination with brushes and a beauty blender, the only way to make this foundation last long and with beautiful flawless application use "Light Optimizing Primer" to breakdown the foundation and give it a more radiant finish.

The trick: One pump of foundation and equal Light Opt. Primer proportion
Finish: creamy, medium to buildable coverage, Sets as a satin long-wearing foundation.

To prep the skin:

either Oil-free Aqua Gel Moisturizer for Combo and very oily skin types

or Luminous Moisture Cream for dehydrated and normal skin types.
