I use this serum every other night before applying moisturizer. Are vitamin c serums drying to skin because it feels that way in my face? Any suggestions/ideas?

They aren't drying exactly, but they absorb into the skin much deeper than regular moisturizers. So you aren't going to get that hydrated feeling from a serum alone, though that doesn't mean you aren't getting the benefits. I know most people usually use a moisturizer after their serum. Personally, I don't, but I have very oily skin so I don't need the extra moisture.

Yeah it's not a moisturizing type of serum like kailey said its meant to quickly absorb into your skin - and moisturizer is not a bad idea afterwards especially if you are going out into the sun - as any sunlight will defeat the purpose of this particular serum since most people use it to treat dark spots and/or uneven skin tone and without an SPF over the serum it's not going to work as well.

Definitely seal it in with a pea size application of moisturizer after applying your serum and you won't have any issue with your skin feeling dry. And if you apply this in the AM make sure it contains an SPF of at least 30 or else you are just wasting money as the beauties above mentioned.

Thank you lovely ladies. I probably won't purchase this again when I run out as uneven skin and spots aren't issues for me. I'm not sure what I expenses from a vitamins serum.
