How do I stop eyeliner from smudging??

I use a gel liner by loreal infallible and it doesn't smudge

Use and I primer ( I suggest the ulta eyelid primer, or if you want something that costs less, the elf eyelid primer) and set it with an eyeshadow the same color as the liner.
